International Students of MBA 2020-22 batch talk about the DCMS and their experience.
"My name is Puleng Lesaoana. I completed my MBA at University of Calicut 2020-2022 batch. My experience at Calicut University was nothing short of phenomenal. Traveling from my home country, in fact, from my continent to study abroad can itself be overwhelming but that wasn't the case with me, thanks to our professors, staff and students who made our experience feel like an adventure and a home from home the moment we walk into the campus.
The MBA classes were Challanging but not for one to miss as they unleashed every potential aspects in my finance skills and facilitated growth in my managerial skills. Our department has the most professors whom one could ask for...I can personally attest to the kindness and professionalism they had though out my MBA journey. Them professors were more of personal like peers rather than someone with elevated status and that itself was the most admiring experience that helped me in my professional growth.
I feel priveldged to have been part of DCMS family and I will always be part of this wonderful family even when I am in my home country".

"I am Mozhgan Haidary from Afghanistan. I have completed my MBA program at DCMS, University of Calicut. Studying at University of Calicut as foreign student was the biggest challenge and the greatest achievement of my life.
Being foreign student on campus was definitely a positive experience during my time at Calicut University. I met a lot of amazing, passionate and talented people during my two years of stay here. Having genuine conversations with my classmates of diverse nationalities taught me important things about other parts of the world that I couldn’t have learned from a book or movie or anywhere else. The fact that these students and I attended the same classes and shared the common experience of being a Calicut University student made all the difference in what we were able to share with and teach each other. I have many great memories of the times I spent with my African and Indian friends, teachers and all my classmates , and my PG life experience would not have been the same without those friendships. When my country Afghanistan was not in good situation, I received much support and love from my professors, classmates and all kind people here. In fact I felt Calicut University is my second home. My time in India has made me realize my passion for learning about other cultures, taught me not just the importance of learning in the classroom, but also of learning from every single person I meet.
I am really thankful to my MBA Faculty members, HOD sir, and all my professors for helping me to grow".

"As a foreign student, I got too many experiences from my MBA course at DSMS, University of Calicut. I am so glad that I was a part of this campus. I have learnt so many things beside my studies, I learnt how to work in teams and how to face challenges and find solutions. I have learnt how to be kind as all my teachers were kind to me. It shaped my life and now I am one step near to my future goals. Life is a miraculous journey. Though the ending is the same (death), there are myriad paths towards it. It's never easy for those who want great things since their thirst of serving is never quenched. Trivial accomplishments do not make them happy, but they always smile for what they have regardless of its literal value. For them, challenge is part of the show so they are not even slightly burdened but are confident that they can overcome the problem no matter how big it seems. For them, money is not the key to joy but is a tool they can use to help their ilk to have a more comfortable life. Having that help offered and seeing their kind relaxed, they can taste true happiness. I too think I am part of this pronoun (them), so I suppose it's better to say for us; life without hardships is not the life we want. Hence, we challenge the challenge and move forward till we serve as many as we can. Education is the power we should never stop to seeking it.
I am extremely thankful from the dept of my heart to all my teachers who helped me in this regard. I will never forget them and their kindness".
